Nasser has been working tirelessly day in and day out since October to evacuate his family from Gaza. He has been working alongside hundreds of other Gazan Canadians, like himself, who are calling on the government to do more to get their families to safety, but we no longer have any time to wait. We are helping our friend raise the money needed to evacuate his family across the border as quickly as possible (before the end of Ramadan on April 9).

Without the help of government officials, each person must now pay $10,000 USD to cross the border out of Gaza which will bring costs to $80,000 just to evacuate.

The good news is, we have already raised over $24,000. with additional revenue from others in our community who have stepped up.

During this tremendously difficult time, we are doing everything we can to raise money in fun and creative ways throughout our community so that we can maximize our impact. We have been planning events across the city of Vancouver this month. Please spread the word so we can get Nasser’s family to safety.
